A man from Welland, who is taking a leading role in an anti-pedophile community safety group, is also promoting Nazi propaganda and white nationalist views online.
Rob (Primo) Primerano, who identified himself as a white nationalist on the social media platform X back in April, followed up with another post in June expressing his desire to make Canada “white again.”
Primerano, often called Primo on his social media profiles, is running an online fundraising campaign on Give Send Go. com aimed at supplying a “community patrol response team” with body cameras, drones, high-visibility reflective jackets, flashlights, headlamps, gloves, whistles, two-way radios, police scanners, battery packs and binoculars “to document incidents and expose predators.”
The Standard attempted to contact Primerano through social media. He did not reply.
The campaign has collected over $1,800 towards its $10,000 target.
Primerano organized and led a motorcycle group participating in two recent protests at the Robert S. K. Welch Courthouse located in downtown St. Catharines.
The demonstrators included survivors and various members of the public demanding stricter sentencing laws and bail reform following a violent late August incident involving the rape of a three-year-old girl in her Welland home during a break-in by an allegedly registered sex offender released from prison for an earlier conviction.
Daniel Senecal, 25 years old, had been convicted of sexually assaulting a 12-year-old boy. Family members of the victim mentioned that Senecal served just 12 months of an 18-month sentence before being released in March.
Senecal now faces several charges related to the attack on the toddler that resulted in her hospitalization and need for reconstructive surgery. He remains incarcerated and is set to appear in court this November regarding these charges.

David C. Hofmann, director of criminology and criminal justice studies at University of New Brunswick, stated that Second Sons is a Canadian men’s-only white nationalist organization established in 2024 by Jeremy Mac Kenzie, who is known as a far-right activist.
When contacted for comments about this matter via email, Mac Kenzie said “This person (Primerano) is not a member of our organization.”
Second Sons-often referred to online by its initials SS-along with another group have conducted training sessions across gyms and martial arts studios throughout Hamilton and Niagara.
A CBC investigation uncovered that there was a Second Sons’ jiujitsu training session held at a Welland martial arts center back in May 2025. They identified Primerano’s involvement by matching tattoos visible on his legs to posts made on his X account.
Hofmann noted that the Second Sons hold white supremacist and ethnonationalist beliefs.
“Their goal is essentially to establish a white ethnostate. In the short term it’s about spreading their ideology while instilling fear into targeted communities,” he explained.
“They pretend to be good old Canadian boys; however within closed groups they express extreme racism along with antisemitism and are against immigration.”</P
At one point during their activities they gathered at monuments chanting their slogan “All thy sons.” </P

A professor from University of Winnipeg mentioned that Second Sons Canada appeared to be testing boundaries with its
A source associated with Second Sons but unable to speak officially for either them or Mac Kenzie disputed claims labeling them as white supremacists or ethnonationalists.</P
“Are they advocating for any kind of ethnically pure state? No.
Do they have questions about immigration? Yes-but it’s no more than what we’re hearing all around Canada,” he added.
“They have rights to assemble together peacefully-they’re not everyone’s cup of tea but haven’t done any violent acts we generally connect with far-right racist groups.”</P
Hofmann stated he wasn’t surprised witnessing street patrols evolving from these protests because far-right movements have historically built narratives focused around protecting women and children.
“You can easily incite people by claiming others want to harm our women or kids,” Hofmann remarked.”That could lead someone protesting drag queen story time events or Pride celebrations accusing those involved-who just want enjoyment-of abusing children or suggesting gender-affirming care constitutes child abuse.”
“It seems plausible someone would take advantage following such tragic events like when children face sexual violence. They’ve become quite skilled exploiting significant moments over recent years aiming for attention while sometimes hijacking movements.”</P
An Oct 9 repost made by Primerano featured content extracted from “Mein Kampf,” Adolf Hitler’s autobiography outlining political ideologies.
This specific excerpt relays Hitler’s thoughts about creating national unity encouraging armed defense mentioning how restoring “the instinct of national self-preservation” holds significant importance.

In response through written communication Remi Vaughn serving as Telegram’s head press relations noted they maintain neutrality respecting peaceful expressions among varying parties.
