This morning, the Simcoe County Student Transportation Consortium announced that all school buses across the Simcoe County area have been canceled. The cancellations are a result of Environment Canada’s warning about freezing rain, ice buildup, and slippery road conditions expected throughout the school day.

The affected areas include:

North – Elmvale, Midland, Penetanguishene, and Orillia West – Collingwood, Stayner & Wasaga Beach Central – Barrie, Innisfil & Angus South – Alliston, Beeton, Bradford, Cookstown & Tottenham

Schools will still be open for student learning.

For more information on bus cancellations, please visit the Simcoe County Student Transportation Consortium website here.
