Zellers is making a comeback at Tecumseh Mall.

The store has revealed its plans for further growth, marking its first significant launch in Ontario. A new location will open in Toronto on Thursday, June 18, followed by the Tecumseh Mall store in July.

Zellers shut down its Tecumseh Mall location back in 2013.

The company noted that its opening in Edmonton last fall surpassed expectations and showed strong customer interest in its updated concept.

This new store will feature home decor, a selected toy range influenced by shopper feedback, a wider array of seasonal products like Halloween costumes, and the introduction of Zellers-branded items.

After the stores in Toronto and Windsor are up and running, the retailer plans to bring in new brands such as Adidas, NFL, NHL, Juicy Couture, and Dickies.

Zellers also confirmed it’s actively discussing potential sites with various landlords nationwide and anticipates announcing more locations across Ontario within the next year.
