Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have taken a Wheatley resident into custody following a raid that took place early Friday morning.
Officers from the Essex County OPP Street Crime Unit, along with the West Region OPP Emergency Response Team, carried out a warrant around 5 a. m.
Authorities seized suspected cocaine, as well as Canadian and U. S. currency, and additional items. The total worth of these items was $5,000.
The 37-year-old faces charges for cocaine possession with intent to sell, possession of criminal proceeds under $5,000, and breaching a release order.
The allegations have yet to be proven in court.
The individual is being held for a bail hearing at a Windsor court.
