Randy Michael Ritchie, born April 15, 1965, passed away unexpectedly on January 24, 2026.
Randy was born in Cobourg, Ontario, and spent most of his life in Woodstock, Ontario, where he created a life filled with family, friends, and unforgettable moments.
He is fondly remembered by his wife, Sam Ritchie; his daughter, Hannah Ritchie (Jordan); his bonus daughters, Faith Hyde and Lauren Ficht (Golton); and his adored granddaughter, Kinsley Bahnuk, whom he cherished as her Papa. Randy is also survived by his mother, Sharron Ritchie; his siblings, Colleen Moss (Rick), Garth Ritchie (Karen), and Wanda Rushton (Kenny); along with many extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.
A committed business owner, Randy devoted nearly his entire career to the industry he loved. He was known for his strong work ethic and dedication. Beyond work though, Randy had a big personality and an even bigger heart. He was a loyal friend and often the life of the party. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle-typically very loudly-and always welcomed someone to join him on a ride. He loved spending time with friends and family that often came filled with laughter and a few drinks.
Even when loud or crass at times, Randy was endlessly generous; he was the kind of guy who would give the shirt off his back to anyone who needed it. He was an amazing father who adored his daughter Hannah and took great pride in being Kinsley’s Papa. He eagerly shared her pictures with anyone willing to take a look. Everyone who met Randy couldn’t help but like him. He’ll be remembered for the unmistakable roar of his Harley bike, legendary stories he told, and all the lives he touched along the way.
Randy lived life to the fullest, loved deeply, and left behind memories of laughter loyalty that will never fade away.
