A 73-year-old man from Blenheim sustained minor injuries after a collision involving a sedan and some farm machinery.
The Elgin County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received reports of the two-vehicle accident around 10 p. m. on Saturday.
The incident took place on Communication Road, situated between Fairview Line and Maynard Road, when the sedan’s driver allegedly crashed into the farm equipment.
Emergency responders, including OPP, Chatham-Kent Fire and Rescue, and Emergency Medical Services (EMS), arrived at the location promptly.
The sedan driver was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of minor injuries, while the operator of the farm equipment remained unharmed.
Charges for driving while under suspension and careless driving have been filed against the elderly driver of the sedan.
