A grant from the Ontario government is set to create more than 40 new jobs in Stratford.
Perth-Wellington MPP Matthew Rae recently revealed $1.3 million in provincial funding for Accumetal Manufacturing Inc. in Stratford.
The company is investing $9,330,438 into its operations, while the provincial government is contributing $1,399,438 through the Regional Development Program’s Southwestern Ontario Development Fund.
The province states that this funding will lead to 41 new well-paying jobs and help maintain 97 current positions.
Accumetal Manufacturing plans to expand its facilities in Woodstock and Stratford, boosting overall manufacturing capacity and capabilities with this funding alongside its own investments.
The province also mentions that “Ontario is investing over $230 million through its Regional Development Program to help manufacturers across the province grow while supporting distinct regional priorities.”
