Winter isn’t giving us a break this week, as the area is expected to receive up to 20 more centimetres of snow on Wednesday.
Environment Canada has put out a yellow snowfall warning for much of Bruce, Grey, Huron, Perth and Wellington Counties. This latest weather alert follows a blizzard warning from Monday and snow squall warnings from Tuesday.
The national weather service says an Alberta clipper will move into the region, bringing snow starting mid-week. We can expect significant snowfall, with totals of 15 to 20 cm possible from Wednesday morning through the evening.
Wind gusts around 50 km/h might also cause blowing snow, especially in areas that are more exposed to the wind.
Travel conditions will remain tough, and West Region OPP are advising drivers to be cautious if they need to be on the roads.
