York Regional Police are on the lookout for several suspects after releasing footage of a home invasion in Richmond Hill, where the intruders were seen stealing the homeowner’s car and driving it through their garage.

Officers responded to a call at a home located near Arnold Avenue and Guinevere Court, close to Major Mackenzie Drive and Yonge Street, just before 3 a. m. on March 18 regarding reports of an invasion.

It was reported that three masked individuals forced their way into the home and demanded car keys. The victim handed over the keys, allowing one suspect to enter the vehicle parked inside the garage.

Surveillance video captured the suspect reversing out of the garage and crashing through both the garage door and the gate at the end of the driveway.

The abandoned vehicle was located not far from where it was taken. Authorities mentioned that there were three adults present during this incident, but thankfully no physical injuries occurred.

The suspects are thought to have arrived in a dark-colored SUV driven by a fourth person.

The three suspects caught on camera are described as male, wearing dark clothing along with masks or face coverings.

If you have any information about this case, please reach out to investigators.
