In the early hours of Tuesday morning, a targeted home invasion took place at the intersection of Red Oak Drive and Hyde Park Drive in Richmond Hill. York Regional Police were called around 4:30 a. m. after reports came in about intruders breaking into the home. The suspects left the scene in a vehicle before police arrived, leaving one resident with minor injuries. This event has led to a strong police presence in the area as they search for witnesses and check surveillance footage. As the investigation continues, residents with home security or dashcam recordings are encouraged to come forward.
