Officers from the Lennox and Addington County OPP have taken one person into custody following a traffic stop on Highway 7. On Friday, April 11, 2025, just before 4 p. m., police received a report of shoplifting occurring at a drug store in Renfrew. They began looking for the suspect’s vehicle and found it on Highway 7. Officers noticed the stolen items inside the car and proceeded to arrest the driver. Andrei-Razvan Tulea, a 29-year-old from Toronto, has been charged with: Possession of property obtained by crime over $5000 Theft under $5000 – shoplifting Police were able to recover over $30,000 worth of stolen goods from the vehicle. The suspect was held in custody after a bail hearing in front of the Ontario Court of Justice in Greater Napanee.
