A couple from Port Elgin has scored $100,000 in the lottery.

The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation reports that Lane Faust and Deborah Kirk won the Lotto 6/49 Guaranteed Prize during the draw on March 26th.

This special Lotto 6/49 event featured a Super Draw with ten guaranteed prizes of $100,000, along with the main jackpot and an additional $1 million guaranteed prize draw.

Faust and Kirk realized they had won while checking their numbers against the winning ones on OLG. ca. “We were so excited! It feels great,” they expressed at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto when claiming their prize.

They mentioned plans to invest their winnings wisely.

The lucky ticket was bought at Food Town on Yonge Street in Tara.
