Residents of Pickering will have another chance to view a proposed high-rise project on January 19, aiming to welcome nearly 1,500 new residents to four towers at the intersection of Kingston Road and Dixie Road.

Created by BDP Quadrangle, the Biglieri Group’s development at 1095 Kingston Road will need a zoning amendment for its plan of 1,492 units in two buildings along with four residential towers, each standing 35 storeys tall.

This site is positioned along the future Durham-Scarborough rapid transit line and is just down the road from another significant development at 705 Kingston Road that plans five towers housing 1,748 new residents.

There are almost six projects currently underway or being planned along this corridor, with many featuring residential towers that soar over 50 storeys high.

The virtual public meeting is scheduled for January 19 at 7 p. m. and will be streamed live on the city’s website at events. pickering. ca/council.
