Two kids and a person have died after a crash in Northern Ontario.

Ontario Provincial Police say a tractor-trailer and a pickup truck collided simply after midnight on a distant part of the Trans-Canada Freeway close to Opasatika, Ont.

The crash pressured the closure of a 500-kilometre stretch of freeway between Longlac and Cochrane for a number of hours.
