Ontario Provincial Police have arrested a second person related to a death investigation occurring north of Kingston.
This investigation began on the afternoon of April 12 when officers responded to a call at Last Duel Park in Perth. They discovered an individual with serious injuries.
The victim, 34-year-old Christo Allison Richards from Ottawa, was taken to the hospital but was later pronounced dead.
A 46-year-old man from Perth was charged with conspiracy to commit murder in connection with this case the following month.
As part of the ongoing inquiry, members of the OPP, with help from the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, executed a search warrant at a rural site near Terrace, B. C., where they seized two firearms.
Police have now charged 32-year-old Lyna Du of Ottawa as an accessory after the fact to murder. She remains in custody and is set to appear in front of the Ontario Court of Justice in Perth on June 12.
Arrest warrants are out for 34-year-old Joseph Madore and 28-year-old Brayton Kennedy, both from Ottawa. They face charges of second-degree murder.
Investigators think that Madore might be camping in a remote area of British Columbia while Kennedy’s location is currently unknown.
The police are warning people not to approach either individual. Anyone who has information about their whereabouts should contact police right away at 1-888-310-1122.
