A tractor driver lost their life after a crash with a car on Highway 34 south of Vankleek Hill Monday evening, as reported by the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP).
Authorities stated on Tuesday that the incident took place around 9 p. m. close to Ridge Road.
A representative informed that the farm tractor operator had died but did not share further details about the individual until their family had been notified.
OPP is asking for anyone who might have seen the tractor prior to the accident or has dashcam footage from the vicinity to come forward.
“Any information, no matter how minor it may seem, could assist investigators,” a spokesperson wrote.
The highway was shut down for most of the night and reopened at 5 a. m. on Tuesday, according to an OPP post online.
