Police in York Area have launched dramatic footage of two folks setting a fireplace contained in the foyer of a film theatre in Richmond Hill over the weekend.

They are saying emergency providers have been dispatched to a cinema close to East Beaver Creek and Freeway 7 shortly after 11 p.m. after a fireplace was reported.

Police say the fireplace, which was set in the primary foyer, activated the sprinkler system which doused the fireplace.

There have been a lot of folks in a second-floor theatre on the time of the incident however there have been no accidents reported to police.

Within the video, a gray sport utility automobile (SUV), with Ontario licence plate DCKP 812, parks in entrance of the theatre earlier than two folks exit and make their means in the direction of the theatre.

They then place an object on the bottom, earlier than throwing what police describe as, “Molotov cocktails at it, inflicting a fireplace to ignite.“

The pair then run rapidly out of the theatre to flee within the SUV as a fireplace grows rapidly behind them.

Police say the automobile is as a gray Acura RDX which had been reported stolen in Toronto on Oct. 28.

They described the primary suspect as having a medium construct and was stated to be sporting black sneakers, black pants, a black hooded sweatshirt with a white shirt beneath, black gloves and a masks.

The second suspect was additionally stated to have a medium construct and was wearing white sneakers, black pants, a gray hooded sweatshirt, black gloves and a masks.
