The 2024 Raymond James Canadian College Males’s Rugby Championship (CUMRC) takes place November 13-17, 2024, hosted by the College of Ottawa at Matt Anthony Subject in Ottawa, Ontario. 

The 2024 Raymond James Canadian College Males’s Rugby Championship (CUMRC) takes place November 13-17, 2024, hosted by the College of Ottawa at Matt Anthony Subject in Ottawa, Ontario. 

The eight collaborating groups are: 

College of British Columbia (BC) 
College of Victoria (BC) 
UBC Okanagan Warmth (Prairies) 
College of Guelph (OUA) 
Queen’s College (OUA) 
École de technologie supérieur (ÉTS) Piranhas (RSEQ) 
Memorial College Sea-Hawks (Atlantic) 
College of Ottawa (Host) 

Extra details about seeding for the 2024 Canadian College Males’s Rugby Championship could be discovered within the enjoying rules right here. 

The groups will likely be competing for the Spence McTavish Trophy, named after a long-time UBC participant, coach, common supervisor, and college rugby supporter. UBC has gained the final three tournaments, in 2021, 2022 and 2023.

Friday November 15, 2024 
10:30am ET: Comfort Semifinal #1 
1:00pm ET: Comfort Semifinal #2 
4:30pm ET: Championship Semifinal #1 
7:00pm ET: Championship Semifinal #2 

Sunday November 17, 2024 
10:00am ET: Seventh Place Recreation 
12:30pm ET: Fifth Place Recreation 
3:00pm ET: Bronze Medal Recreation 
6:00pm ET: Championship Recreation 

Match Official Appointments 

Rugby Canada has appointed the match officers for the 2024 Canadian College Males’s Rugby Championship. 

Along with these listed beneath, the referee staff will likely be joined on the teaching and efficiency evaluate staff by David Wilkinson, Supervisor of Match Officers for the MLR.  

“We are incredibly pleased with the quality of officials attending this year’s men’s university championship event. A few of the officials have been to multiple editions of this tournament and will service it very well,” stated Nathan Abdelnour, Match Official Supervisor for Rugby Canada. “Having David Wilkinson attend is also an invaluable opportunity for our match officials to get additional feedback and exposure to what refereeing at the MLR level takes.”
