Mrs. Seija Liisa Noponen, age 78, passed away unexpectedly on Christmas Day, Thursday, December 25, 2025.
Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, January 6, 2026 at 10:30 AM in the EVEREST FUNERAL CHAPEL, located at 299 Waverley St. at Algoma, with Rev. Jari Lahtinen officiating. Following the service, interment will be in Riverside Cemetery. Family and friends are welcome to visit on Monday evening from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM in the Everest Chapel.
The family kindly requests that those who wish to honor Seija’s memory do so with flowers, as she had a love for them and couldn’t enjoy her garden last summer due to health issues – she deserves to be surrounded by beauty.
