Son, brother, grandson, nephew, friend, and comedian. Ryan Wade James Davis left us far too soon. Ryan, 25, from Oshawa, passed away in the early morning hours of November 27th, 2025. He had been living with Epilepsy.
Born in Brampton, Ontario on September 27th, 2000, Ryan is survived by his parents Kevin Davis and Janice Waddick (Julie), his cherished big sister Ashley (Cory), and his grandmother Kay Waddick of Chatham, Ontario. He’ll also be remembered by a large circle of family and friends including his best pals Owen and Olivia as well as his adored cat Thor. Ryan is predeceased by his grandfather Maurice Waddick and grandparents Bruce & Shirley Davis of Orillia, Ontario.
Ryan had a great love for laughter and silliness, especially when it came to teasing his older sister Ashley or pulling pranks on those he cared about. He was always eager to learn new things: picking up multiple languages, playing guitar and practicing Judo. Most recently, Ryan started volunteering at the Canadian Tank Museum where he discovered a passion for Pyrotechnics.
Kindness was second nature to Ryan; he made an effort to support friends, family members, and even strangers. Wherever he went the atmosphere became brighter, louder and more entertaining. Although he was young, he impacted many lives in special ways and will be profoundly missed.
A Celebration of Life will take place on Sunday, December 14th from 1pm to 3pm at the 420 Wing (https://420wing. com/),1000 Stevenson Rd N, Oshawa.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Canadian Tank Museum Charity in Ryan’s name. Donation link: https://tankmuseum. ca/donate/
