Robert Earl Brown OBITUARY
Robert Earl Brown went to be with the Lord on January 9, 2026. He was born in Roseville, Michigan, as the eldest child of Herbert and Martha Brown. He was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran Church. Robert’s family later moved to Glendora, CA where he finished his education at Citrus High School and Citrus Junior College. In 1958, he joined the Army and spent two years running a microwave relay station in Stuttgart, Germany. It was during this time that he met Shirley Mosshammer, who worked as a teacher at Hope Lutheran Church and School; they married on November 24, 1962. Robert had a career with Pacific Telephone and Telegraph and AT& T. Together with Shirley, they raised four children in their home in Ontario for an impressive 58 years. The family attended Redeemer Lutheran Church in Ontario as well as First Lutheran Church in Lake Elsinore. In 1990, Robert took over Alosta Ace Hardware on Route 66 in Glendora and became active in both the Chamber of Commerce and the Rotary Club. His life revolved around faith in Christ, devotion to his family, and helping others. He will be deeply missed by his wife of 63 years, their four children, thirteen grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.Source link
