1942 – 2026

With heavy hearts, the family of Richard William Coslett, who was 84 years old, shares that he passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at Hospice. Born and raised in Thunder Bay, he dedicated his career to the automotive industry. A proud member and Senator of the Fort William Jaycees, Richard served as President of this organization that meant so much to him. He loved spending time with the many friends he made through Jaycees. His favorite spot was his summer camp at Silver Islet where he enjoyed working on the wood pile and making kindling. Many joyful moments were spent with friends and family around the fire pit at camp. Richard kept himself busy with various clubs including his coffee club, poker club, and Casino breakfast club. He truly enjoyed life and always had a quick laugh.

Richard is survived by his wife of 63 years, Sharon (Corrin), his daughter Shari Coslett and son-in-law Jason Sirignano from Greenwich CT., along with son Bradley and daughter-in-law Lisa Coslett from Thunder Bay.

He also leaves behind three grandchildren whom he adored: Benji Sirignano, Jessica Lemieux, and Mark Lemieux (Anthony). Additionally, Richard is remembered by his two brothers Peter and Bruce as well as his sister Nancy Mac Gregor along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Richard was predeceased by his parents Bill and Elsie Coslett, in-laws Lou and Ben Corrin, brother David Coslett, sisters-in-law Sylvia, Ginny and Sheila Coslett; along with brother-in-law Dr. David Mac Gregor.

Funeral Services are set to take place at St. Michael’s and All Angels Anglican Church on Red River Road on Wednesday, July 8/26 at 11:00 am with visitation starting at 10:00 am.

In lieu of flowers, donations to TBRHSC Our Hearts at Home Campaign or any charity of your choice would be appreciated.

The family would like to express their gratitude to all the wonderful nurses and doctors who provided exceptional care throughout Richard’s journey.

Condolences can be sent through www. nwfainc. com
