Ontario, NY – Passed away peacefully at home on June 25, 2026, at the age of 83, with his loving wife Rachel by his side. Ray was born in Philadelphia, PA and graduated from Frankfort High School in 1961. After finishing school, he started working as a salesman in the printing ink industry. One of Ray’s favorite spots was his former vacation home in Cape May, NJ, where he enjoyed fishing in the Delaware Bay and cooking seafood for friends. He never missed watching games of the Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies or attending live music concerts when he could. During his retirement over the past 17 years in Wayne County, Ray and Rachel cheered on their granddaughter Kate along with nephews Braydn and Parker at their baseball and soccer games at Sodus Central School.
Ray also enjoyed playing trumpet alongside his lifelong friend John Seiner on keyboard and loved working on his train collection. He proudly served our country in the United States Army with close friend Chet Zack.
