Patricia Ann Mallette (Field), age 90, of Thunder Bay, passed away at TBRHSC on March 11, 2026. She was born in Negaunee, Michigan, and grew up in Palmer. As an adult, she lived in Ishpeming, Michigan, before moving to Thunder Bay in the 1970s. Throughout her career, she worked at Hallmark, Kmart, and Mc Kellar Hospital in the SPD department and gift shop.

Pat loved gardening and singing. She participated in many choirs over the years, with her most recent being Silver Sounds and the choir at First Wesley United Church. She dedicated much of her life to volunteering at both the hospital and church. Lately, she enjoyed helping out at Mc Kellar Park School with First Wesley by making sandwiches for students.

Pat is survived by her children: John Pepin (Liana), Marcia Graham, Jim Pepin (Lana), Annie Pepin, Bryan Malenfant; as well as her grandchildren: James (Kelly Ann), Jeffery (Carolyn), Jessica (Ryan), Kelly, Jessica (Adam), Hayden, Halle, and Brayden. She also leaves behind great-grandchildren Evelyn, Nolan, Abigail, and Claire along with numerous nieces and nephews. Pat was predeceased by her husbands Richard Mallette and Jean Malenfant; brothers Charlie Field and Richard Field; foster brothers Clyde and Russ Kohn; and foster sisters Gertrude Kohn and Laura Luhr.

The funeral service will take place at First Wesley United Church located at 130 Brodie St. N., on Saturday March 21, 2026 at 11:00am.
