We are heartbroken to share the news of our dear Dad, Victor Yorke’s passing. Victor left us peacefully while receiving wonderful care at Brouillette Manor.

He was born to Mrs Gemima Yorke and Mr Albert Benjamin Yorke in Sekondi Takoradi, West Ghana. Later, he moved to Canada where he spent the rest of his life.

Victor was a gentle and humble man who had a deep love for God, his family, and his favorite team (The Detroit Lions). One of his greatest pleasures in life was music; he enjoyed various genres, especially African tunes and R& B soul.

Family gatherings brought him immense joy, particularly his annual combined birthday BBQ celebration. He took great satisfaction in ensuring that everyone around him was happy.

Victor will be missed dearly by his children Eudora, Bo (Jen), Joel (Tamara) & Victoria (Andrew). His wife, Gifty Yorke, will always hold him close to her heart. Grandpa “Papa” will be deeply missed by his wonderful grandchildren Alyssa, Jaylan, Cameron, Brooklyn, Chandler, Xzayvier & Mireya. Other close family members will forever treasure their memories with him. Our heartfelt thanks go out to the Owusu/Smith family for the love and friendship they provided during this time.

He is survived by his sisters Adelaide & Dorothy and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Regina & daughter Deanna.

We’ve lost a remarkable man but Heaven has gained an angel! He’ll always live on in our hearts through our cherished memories.

A Celebration of Life is scheduled for November 20, 2025, at Windsor Chapel Banwell (11677 Tecumseh Rd. East, Windsor, ON) from 11:30 am until 1 pm. Following this service, cremation will take place.

Online condolences in Victor’s memory can be made at www. windsorchapel. com
