We are heartbroken to share the sudden loss of Patrick Brian Mullins on May 14, 2025, at the age of 57, at Windsor Regional Hospital – Ouellette Campus.
Patrick is survived by his loving wife, Traci Matz-Mullins, and their adored sons, Liam and Luke. He was the dear son of Julia Mullins (née Quinlan) and the late John Mullins. He was also a son-in-law to Ron and the late Marie Matz. He has reunited with his best dog friend, Caezar.
He was a caring brother to Jim (Grace), Joe (Beth), John Jr. (late Jeanne), Jeff, and Michael (Marylou). He will be greatly missed by his many nieces and nephews: Krista, Melissa, Justin, Cassandra, Branden, Brycelin, Ryan, Jessica, Tyler, along with his great-nieces and nephews: Devin, Emma, Easton, Addisyn, Sydney, Reese, Adalynn, and Nash.
Patrick actively participated in several communities that brought him happiness. He enjoyed playing pickleball with the “Pickleball Mafia” and hockey with the Ice Hogs alongside frequent ‘pucks-and-sticks’, biking rides around town while golfing on weekends. For three decades he took pride in being the founder and owner of Canadian Metrology Certification Inc.
A lifelong sports fan at heart; Patrick passionately cheered for the Detroit Red Wings, Detroit Lions, and Detroit Tigers. Whether it was watching a game or chatting about sports; his dedication to his teams never faded.
His unexpected departure has created a significant void in the lives of family members, friends, and everyone who had the chance to know him well. His warmth, sense of humor, and profound love for family will always be remembered as will all those joyous moments shared. Patrick lived life fully, taking every opportunity to lend a helping hand when needed.
