May passed away peacefully at the age of 94, on October 31, 2025. She was predeceased by her loving husband Joe (2014). She was a wonderful mom to her two favorite sons, Gary (Irene) and Michael (Laura). May was a treasured grandma to Garrett and Abigail, Kayla (Stevin), Kelsey (Brandon), and Leo Ramirez.

She was a cherished sister and best friend of Rose Bordeau (late Ray). She was predeceased by her siblings Victor Boudreau (Shirley), Dell La Branche (Leo), and Dave Boudreau. May is survived by her sisters-in-law, Arlene Boudreau and Bernadette Marier. She will be missed by her many nieces, nephews, and loving godson Gilles Belanger.

May enjoyed spending time in her garden, caring for her flowers and vegetables with great love. She had a passion for shopping and fashion, earning herself the nickname “Hollywood” from the staff at Huron Lodge.

May was a devoted mother, mother-in-law, sister, grandma, and friend. Her joy and kindness will always be remembered.

Heartfelt thanks to the amazing staff of the Poplar Unit at Huron Lodge for taking such exceptional care of May for the last five years. You all are incredible!

Donations in memory of May Belanger can be made to Second Chance Ministry.

Family and friends are invited to visit Windsor Chapel Funeral Home – Central Chapel (1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. 519-253-7234) on Monday, November 3, 2025 from 3:00pm – 7:00pm. A funeral service will take place at the funeral home on Tuesday, November 4, 2025 at 11am. Cremation will follow.
