May passed away peacefully at 94 years old, on October 31, 2025. She was predeceased by her dear husband Joe (2014). A wonderful mom to her two favorite sons, Gary (Irene) and Michael (Laura). She was a treasured grandma to Garrett and Abigail, Kayla (Stevin), Kelsey (Brandon), and Leo Ramirez.

May was a beloved sister and best friend to Rose Bordeau (late Ray). She was also predeceased by her siblings Victor Boudreau (Shirley), Dell La Branche (Leo), and Dave Boudreau. May is survived by her sisters-in-law, Arlene Boudreau and Bernadette Marier. Many nieces, nephews, and her adoring godson Gilles Belanger will miss her dearly.

May enjoyed spending time in her garden, caring for her flowers and vegetables with love. She had a passion for shopping and fashion which earned her the nickname “Hollywood” from the staff at Huron Lodge.

As a loving mother, mother-in-law, sister, grandma, and friend, May’s joy and kindness will always be remembered.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to the amazing staff of the Poplar Unit at Huron Lodge for taking such great care of May over the past five years. You are all incredible!

In honor of May Belanger’s memory, donations can be made to Second Chance Ministry.

Family and friends can visit Windsor Chapel Funeral Home – Central Chapel (1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. 519-253-7234) on Monday, November 3, 2025 from 3:00pm – 7:00pm. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, November 4, 2025 at 11am. Cremation will follow.
