It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Linda Bouchard (née Belley) on December 4, 2025, in Windsor, Ontario, at the age of 71. Born on October 19, 1954, in Mistassini, Lac St. Jean, Quebec, Linda was the daughter of the late Jean-Marie and Rolande Belley (née Audet).
Linda is survived by her loving husband, Regis Bouchard, with whom she shared an unbreakable bond for 51 years. Their love story began when they were just 15 and blossomed into a beautiful partnership. They were rarely seen apart, always holding hands as they navigated life together.
Linda is also survived by her loving children, Valerie Radigan (Shane) and Dominic Bouchard (Pamela). She was a proud grandmother to Alana Dvorak (William), Aiden, Austin, Carson and Wesley, and a doting great-grandmother to Levi and Jodi Lynn. Her family was her greatest treasure, and she every moment spent with them. She is also survived by her brothers, Jean-Pierre Belley and Yves Belley, along with many nieces and nephews who will all miss her dearly. Linda is predeceased by her brother Jocelyn Belley.
Linda had a passion for travel and spent many wonderful years as a snowbird with Regis, escaping the cold winters to enjoy Florida alongside friends and family. A talented cook, she delighted in preparing delicious meals, hosting dinner parties, and creating memories in the kitchen. One of her most traditions was welcoming the New Year by watching the sunrise on a Florida beach, champagne in hand surrounded by Regis and loved ones.
The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the Windsor Regional Hospital staff particularly the Palliative Cancer Floor and ICU teams for their exceptional care and support during Linda’s time of need. A special thank you goes to Nurse Lisa from St. Elizabeth’s Health for her compassion and dedication.
