With deep sadness, we share the news of Ken Parent’s passing at the age of 73. He is now reunited with his parents Loraine and Barnaby, along with his brother Tony. Ken was a devoted father to Benjamin (Nicole) and Corey (Carolyn), a loving grandfather to Taylor (Andrew), Ayden, Cole, Cloe, and Caleb, and a proud great-grandfather to Norah. He is survived by his siblings Elaine (Don) Damphouse, Roland (Josie) Parent, Anne Beausoleil, Tim (Sol) Parent, David Parent, and sister-in-law Carol. He will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.

Kenny was not only a golf champion in Essex County but also a compassionate member of his community who enjoyed helping others. He was a trailblazer and longtime supporter of the Second Chance Ministry and Brentwood Recovery Home. In his spare time, Ken loved taking nature walks and playing golf.

The family wishes to extend heartfelt thanks to his nephew John Parent for being incredibly kind and supportive during this difficult time.

Arrangements have been made through Windsor Chapel Funeral Home – Banwell Chapel (11677 Tecumseh Rd. E, 519-253-7235). Visitation will take place at St. Anne’s Parish (12233 Tecumseh Rd E) on Wednesday November 5th, 2025 from 10am until the funeral Mass starts at 11am. Online condolences and cherished memories can be shared with the family at www. windsorchapel. com.
