I, Karey Menzies, am saddened to share that the love of my life, James Harrison Menzies, passed away on October 19, 2025, at the age of 77.

Jim is survived by his beloved children Robert (Michelle) Menzies and Robin Mc Keown. He was a proud grandfather to Noah Menzies and Molly and Max Mc Keown. He also leaves behind his furry friend Piper.

He was predeceased by his dear parents James and Marion Menzies, as well as siblings Marion Theaker, Doreen Barclay (Wilfred), and Marjorie Russell. Jim held a special affection for my parents Rose and Jack Winter.

Jim worked as an accountant and owned several businesses that he took great pride in. He loved spending time in Muskoka during the summers we shared there. His biggest joy came from being with his children, grandchildren, and of course traveling. His favorite destination was always Scotland, but he also enjoyed trips to Alaska, Ireland, and many other beautiful places.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Windsor Essex Cancer Centre Foundation.

A memorial visitation will take place on Friday, October 24, 2025 at Windsor Chapel – Banwell Location from 2 pm – 4 pm and 6 pm – 9 pm. Words of remembrance will be shared at 7:30 pm.
