I, Karey Menzies, am sharing the sad news of the passing of my dear husband, James Harrison Menzies, on October 19, 2025, at the age of 77.
Jim is survived by his loving children Robert (Michelle) Menzies and Robin Mc Keown. He was a proud grandparent to Noah Menzies, Molly and Max Mc Keown. Jim also leaves behind his furry friend Piper.
He was predeceased by his cherished parents James and Marion Menzies, along with siblings Marion Theaker, Doreen Barclay (Wilfred), and Marjorie Russell. Jim held a special affection for my parents Rose and Jack Winter.
Jim worked as an accountant and owned several businesses that he took great pride in. He loved spending time up north in Muskoka where we created many summer memories together. His greatest joys were his kids, grandkids, and of course traveling. Scotland was his favorite destination but he also enjoyed trips to Alaska, Ireland, and many other beautiful places.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Windsor Essex Cancer Centre Foundation.
A memorial visitation will take place on Friday, October 24, 2025 at Windsor Chapel – Banwell Location from 2 pm – 4 pm and again from 6 pm – 9 pm. Words of remembrance will begin at 7:30 pm.
