With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Elaine Barolak (nee Beneteau) who peacefully handed away surrounded by her household on the age of 82. Elaine was a loyal mom, mémé, nice grandmother, trainer, nurse, and passionate lover of music. She shall be deeply missed by all who knew and liked her.

Elaine was predeceased by her dad and mom, Lawrence and Agnes Beneteau (nee Rivest), and her brother, Bernard. She is survived by her beloved kids, Gisele, Melanie, Vanessa, Heather (Scott), and Justin. She was a proud and loving grandmother to Amanda, Ashley, Calvin, Curtis, Geneva, and Tristan, and nice grandmother to Aspen. Elaine can also be survived by her siblings, Shirley, Larry, Michelle, and sister in legislation Mary-Lou together with many nieces and nephews who held a particular place in her coronary heart.

A lifelong learner, Elaine was deeply enthusiastic about training, repeatedly increasing her information. She took nice satisfaction in her French heritage and made certain she handed that on to her kids.  She earned a number of levels, together with a Bachelor of Arts, Grasp of Arts, Grasp of Training, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She was additionally a religious catholic and her religion guided her by means of life. All through her profession, she devoted herself to each instructing and nursing, and labored in persevering with training on the College of Windsor, guiding others, leaving a long-lasting impression on numerous lives. 

In her free time, she loved studying Spanish, watching Jeopardy!, and embracing alternatives for private development. She additionally spent many winters at her apartment in Punta Gorda Florida, the place she continued to reside an lively and fulfilling life having fun with tennis and the gorgeous Florida solar. Elaine’s love for music was a cornerstone of her life. She performed the organ for a few years at St. Simon’s & St.Jude additionally performed many weddings funerals and celebrations at varied church buildings, sharing her musical expertise with the neighborhood. She additionally taught piano to quite a few college students, passing on her ardour for music to future generations. An avid tennis fan, Elaine discovered nice pleasure within the sport. She treasured the companionship of her beloved canine, Denver, Roddick, and Sasha, who introduced her limitless happiness.  Above all, her biggest pleasure in life was caring for her 5 kids who had been the middle of her world and the supply of her love and satisfaction.

The household wish to prolong a heartfelt thanks to Nancy for her years of devoted care and unwavering love. Extra lately, they’d additionally like to specific their gratitude to Tina and all of the workers, nurses, and PSWs at Brouillette Manor for his or her care and compassion.

Visitation will happen at Windsor Chapel Banwell Chapel, 11677 Tecumseh Rd. in Windsor on Thursday February 6, 2025 from 2:00pm till 5:00pm and seven:00pm till 9:00pm with parish prayers held at 7:00pm.  A funeral mass shall be held on Friday February 7 at St. Anne’s Parish in Tecumseh at 1:30pm with an interment to observe at St. Anne’s Cemetery. Donations made in reminiscence of Elaine to the VON Day Program can be appreciated.
