It’s with nice unhappiness and damaged hearts that we announce the peaceable passing of our Father, Nonno and Bis-Nonno Domenico De Carolis. He has returned into the loving arms of his spouse Iria (2020) of 72 years. Loving father to Vincenza “Nancy” Vitella (Aldo), the late Elio De Carolis (2022) (Alana), and Dalia Difazio (Frank). His legacy and reminiscence continues by way of his cherished grandchildren Melissa Lockhart (Anthony), Mark Vitella (Angie), Bianca Antonucci (Andrew), Nick Fantetti, and Felicia Demarco (Ray). Proud Bisnonno to Matteo, Anthony, Ariana, Ava, Milla, Gianluca, Presley, and Child Demarco. Domenico was born in Alvito, Italy and is predeceased by his mother and father Domenico De Carolis and Vincenza (nee. Difazio), and father in-law and mom in-law Donato and Angela DiCarlo. He will probably be missed by nieces and nephews. Domenico retired from the Windsor Salt Mine after a few years of devoted service. Domenico was a founding member of the Ciociaro Membership. He was an avid gardener, baker, sausage maker, and the perfect vintner. He all the time loved listening to his classical music, and taking time to bop. Domenico was a person of integrity, and made certain his household was his prime precedence. Visitation will probably be held at Windsor Chapel Funeral Dwelling – Central Chapel (1700 Tecumseh Rd. Parish prayers on Tuesday, August 26, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Service on Wednesday, August 27, 2025 at 8:15a.m. from the funeral dwelling then to St. Angela Merici Church (980 Louis Ave.) for a Mass of Christian burial at 9:30a.m. Entombment to observe at Heavenly Relaxation Cemetery.
