AQUINO, Anna (nee Piccolo) It’s with profound unhappiness that we announce the passing of our devoted mom, Anna. She went peacefully to fulfill her Lord and Saviour, on March 22, 2025 on the age of 93. Anna is reunited along with her beloved husband Antonio (2004) with whom she shared 53 years of blessed marriage. Loving and devoted mom to Virginia Aquino, Lina Aquino (Emilio), Fran Lorkovich (John) and Tony Aquino (Donna). Cherished nonna to Laura Lopez (Rino), Carmine Aquino (Jennifer), Amanda Shapka (Steve), Michael Lorkovich (Jessica), Natalina Aquino (Jesse), Thomas Aquino, Mikayla Lorkovich (Matt) and Anthony Aquino. Nice-nonna to Alessio Lopez, Amalia Lopez, Marcello Aquino, Jacob Shapka and Antonio Aquino. A lot cherished and adored sister to Dora Spagnuolo (Paul), Sestina Ariza (Glen), Tony Piccolo (Nancy) and Gianfranco Piccolo (Neena). Pricey sister in-law to Salvatore Matera, Genesio Aquino (Pina), Aldo Aquino (Nella) and Gino Aquino (Antonietta). Anna is predeceased by her mother and father Luciano and Natalina Piccolo, sisters, child Maria Piccolo, Caterina Matera, Aurelia and Antonio Serpa. She can also be predeceased by her in-laws Francesco and Virginia Aquino and step-mother in-law Caterina Aquino. Our mom was candy and decided. A selfless woman, Anna confirmed unwavering love in at all times placing her household first. She was the guts of our household and showered us with infinite and unconditional love. Mother and pop have been the proud house owners of Roma Pizzeria for a few years. Of their retirement they grew to become snowbirds the place they loved spending a few years in Florida. After the passing of our father, she cherished occurring trip, weekend or day journeys with all of us. Anna touched the hearts of everybody who was lucky sufficient to have identified her. She can be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, household and buddies in Canada, Italy and the usA. A honest and heartfelt thanks to Windsor-Essex E.M.S., the workers, medical doctors and nurses at Windsor Regional Hospital, Ouellette Campus (ER Dept and seven East), and the Rehab Unit 1 and Palliative Care Unit at Resort-Dieu Grace Healthcare and Transition to Betterness.. A particular thanks to Dr. Dale Ziter and Sue for the various years of care and devotion supplied to our mother, and to Steve and the workers at I.D.A. Westminster Pharmacy. Many because of the workers at Windsor Chapel (Central Chapel), particularly TJ for all of the steerage, assist and help earlier than and through these troublesome days. (519) 253-7234 on Wednesday, March 26, 2025 from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. and seven:00 – 9:00 p.m. Parish prayers at 4:30 p.m. On Thursday, March 27, 2025 buddies are welcome to hitch the household at St. Angela Merici Church (980 Louis Ave. at Erie St. E.) for Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Entombment to observe at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, (1805 Hwy #3, Oldcastle, ON.) . As an expression of sympathy and to honour Anna’s life, memorial donations could also be made to the Resort-Dieu Grace Healthcare, Palliative Care Unit.
