Stuart E. Canada was born on May 11, 1947, in Scarbro, West Virginia. He passed away to join his heavenly father on Sunday, August 3, 2025.

Stuart graduated from Mount Hope in 1966. He was a decorated Marine who served during the Vietnam War. He previously worked at Chrysler. Above all, he was a dedicated husband, father, and grandfather.

Stuart is preceded in death by his first wife Charlene Canada with whom he shared 41 years of marriage, his father Andrew Canada Sr., and mothers Elizabeth Thompson and Lilith Canada along with five brothers and two sisters. He is mourned by his wife Bernadine. Stuart is survived by one son Stuart Canada Jr., four daughters: Angelita Canada, April Murdock, Marie Canada, and Tanya Canada; also a stepdaughter Damona Murdock. He leaves behind 14 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren as well as five brothers and eight sisters along with many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

What Stuart loved most was being around his grandkids, working on cars, and watching westerns. He had a great sense of humor and always helped people whenever he could.

The funeral service will be held at 9:30 am on Thursday, August 14, 2025 at House of Wheat Funeral Home located at 2107 N. Gettysburg Ave., Dayton, OH. Visitation will take place from 8:30 am to 9:30 am when family will welcome friends. Interment will be at Dayton National Cemetery.
