We are heartbroken to share the sudden loss of Jason “Jay” Traill, who left us on December 24th, 2025 at the age of 45. Jason was a caring son, brother, uncle, and father. He made a positive impact on everyone around him with his kindness, sense of humour, and unwavering support for his loved ones. His absence will be deeply felt by all who knew him.

Jason is survived by his mother Wendy (late Rick), siblings Shawn (Ashley) and Amber (Brad), nieces Everly and Braylee, nephew Nolan, and daughter Cailin. People will remember Jason for his sharp wit and the deep love he had for his daughter. His greatest happiness came from spending time with her as he watched her grow up.

A Celebration of Jay’s life will take place at Low & Low Funeral Home, 1763 Reach Street, Port Perry on Sunday January 25, 2026 from 1:00 – 4:00 PM. Memories will be shared at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Ontario SPCA and Humane Society. Friends are welcome to send condolences or make donations at www. lowandlow. ca
