Ontario – Nancy passed away on March 12, 2026, at the age of 77. She was born to the late Edward and Josephine Alborn in Rochester, NY.
Nancy was predeceased by her husband of 51 years, Phillip Mc Mullen. She also had a lifelong bond with her closest friend, Sandy, who passed away recently. Nancy was a loving wife and mother who cared for her family without hesitation. People will remember her gentle nature, warm smile, infectious laughter, and the sincere kindness she showed to everyone around her. Nancy had a special fondness for animals, especially her pampered dogs, who provided her with comfort and companionship throughout her life.
For many years, Nancy served as a school bus monitor for the Wayne Central School District. She dedicated herself to supporting special needs students and took great pride in offering patience, kindness, and encouragement.
Nancy is survived by her children, Tim (Roxanne Pyles) Mc Mullen and Lori (Jeffrey) Cox; grandson Ryan Cox; siblings Shirley (Doug) Montgomery and Gary (Sandy) Alborn; along with several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to visit from 5-7 PM on Wednesday, March 18th at Murphy Funeral & Cremation Chapels located at 1961 Ridge Rd., Ontario, NY. A memorial service will take place right after visiting hours. Nancy will be laid to rest in Furnaceville Cemetery.
