Mr. Martin Stephen Horvath, age 81, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 9, 2026 at TBRHSC. Martin was predeceased by his beloved wife, Carol. He will be sadly missed by his children Martin Horvath (Sherri) and Marnie Ludwig (Bruno), and his grand-daughter Latasha Ludwig (Aaron). He is also survived by his siblings, Gertie Bell, Tom Hock (Vicky) and Arthur Hock (Wilma), and was predeceased by his brothers Walter Hock, Edward Hock and Robert Horvath. As per Martin’s wishes, no memorial service will be held. Interment will be held in Sunset Memorial Gardens. The family extends their deepest gratitude to his close, lifelong friends for their unwavering love and support. Special thanks also to the staff of 1A at Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre for their exceptional kindness and care of Martin. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ontario SPCA and Humane Society Northwest Animal Centre or a charity of your choice.
