November 17th, 1983 – September 21st, 2013

Mark passed away unexpectedly but peacefully on September 21st, 2013, at the age of 29. He made a difference in the lives of many and was deeply loved by all who knew him, especially his parents, Mom and Dad, and his “kicker.” He was the son of David and Jo-Anne Nantais and had a sister named Shawna-Marie. Mark was also the grandson of Joe (1984) and Geraldine (2002) Nantais, along with Rene (2000) and Jeanne Quenneville. He is survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, as well as special friends like Uncle Dave Blanchette Sr. and Jen Fejerdi. Over these years, Mark’s kindness touched so many lives including Pat O’Halloran and his extended family at Zehrs-Paul, Jocelyn, Zach, and Savannah Guilbeault. A heartfelt thank you goes out to the staff at Saint Elizabeth for their wonderful care-especially Linda Kierl and Carrie Russette-as well as everyone at The John Mc Givney Centre (previously known as the Children’s Rehabilitation Centre) and Harmony in Action where Mark was a member. Mark brought joy to our lives making us all better people – TO KNOW MARK, WAS TO LOVE HIM.

If you wish to honor him with memorial donations, please consider contributing to the John Mc Givney Centre Seating Department or Harmony in Action; it would mean a lot to Mark’s family. Visiting hours will be on Tuesday from 2-5 PM and again from 7 until the service starts at 8:00 PM at Families First located at 3260 Dougall Ave., South Windsor. For assistance call 519-969-5841; Father Richard Cartier will officiate. Cremation will take place.
