(John) “Paul” Condon handed away unexpectedly on July 22, 2024, on the age of 85, surrounded by his household. 

Born in Hamilton, Ontario on December 29, 1938, he was the of son of Vernon and Mary Condon and brother to Larry Condon. 

After a loving 17-year marriage to Dorothy (McGovern), Paul turned a widower with 5 kids. Father to Mary, Patti, Rachael, Michael and Beth. Father-in-Legislation to Jim, Scott, John, Ken and Ashlyn. Poppa to Hannah and Ben, Emily and Mac, Ava and Leo, Ethan and Madeline. 

His 34-year profession in schooling was each numerous and impactful. He was a beloved instructor and colleague and his experiences included being an administrator, steerage counselor, classroom instructor and librarian. He was awarded York Area’s Instructor of the 12 months. 

In 1982, Paul discovered love once more when he met Astrid and collectively they created a loving and considerably unconventional household. In 1998, Paul and Astrid have been married and would proceed to create a lifetime of reminiscences collectively. They loved journey to locations like Italy, Alaska, Eire and all throughout North America. One in every of his favorite locations was Vermont. Final summer season all the household travelled there collectively. It was a spotlight for Paul to have the ability to share Vermont together with his household. 

Paul was an avid sports activities fan who beloved The Habs, The Expos and The Blue Jays. He was additionally a long-time member of the Sutton Curling Membership, however his favorite exercise was to teach his personal kids or to look at his grandchildren play their sports activities. 

Paul had an incredible group of buddies. He loved espresso store visits, golf, taking part in playing cards and “quick and candy” social outings.

Paul was keen about studying, gardening, discovering outdated movies on YouTube, listening to music, in addition to feeding and watching animals, together with common visits from his birds, squirrels, foxes and raccoons.
