Francis C. “Butch, Vern”

Age 85 of Little Canada

Fran passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on December 3, 2025. He was preceded in death by his son Michael Boerjan. His wife of 60 years, Peggy, will miss him dearly. He is survived by son Jim (Mary) Boerjan of Woodbury and daughter Peggie (Blake) Zimmerman of Inver Grove Heights; sister Diane Hammerschmidt; grandchildren Tara, Jamey (Matt), Mike, Zack (Maddie), and Jake; along with his great-grandchildren, “Papa’s Boys” Skylar, Brody, Greyson, and Connor. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11AM on Friday, December 12 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church located at 380 Little Canada Road E, Little Canada MN, 55117. Visitation begins at the church at 10AM. Interment will take place at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Fran loved spending time at the family cabin in Luck, WI. His humor and presence will be missed by all who knew him. Special thanks to Joyce, Kelly, and Yonna for their support during this time. Memorials are preferred to the American Heart Association or a charity of your choice.
