It is with a heavy heart that we announce Bernie’s unexpected passing at his home in Kamloops, British Columbia on November 14, 2025.
He leaves behind his cousins from Ontario, Cheryl Bayles (Keith), Wendy Easterbrook, and Connor Glassford (Sydney), all residing in Sault Ste Marie, Ontario. He is also survived by his step-son William Wishart (Kat) of Prince George and step-sister Adrienne White of Vancouver.
Bernie was predeceased by his parents Lillian Caufield and David Caufield (Barb), as well as his sister Roxanne Caufield.
Originally from Sault Ste Marie, Ontario, Bernie had a passion for skiing and the outdoors that led him to British Columbia, where he lived for over 40 years. His family and friends in British Columbia will deeply miss him.
In accordance with Bernie’s wishes, there will be no service.
