We are saddened to share the news of Carol’s passing after a brave fight against cancer. Carol was an amazing wife, daughter, sister, and aunt. She leaves behind her mother Ann Bobyk (Jack Pushie), sister Sandy (Bob Brooks), niece Julie (Matt Westerback), nephew Blake, along with many other nieces and nephews.
Carol is preceded in death by her husband Larry (2021), her father Ed Bobyk, and her brother Ken Bobyk. In line with Carol’s wishes, a private service will be arranged at a later time.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Northern Ontario Cancer Centre or any pet rescue would be greatly appreciated. Over the years, Carol adopted several cats and her beloved dog Holly.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to the wonderful doctors and nurses who did their best to care for her: Dr. Delpaggio, Dr. Fagigh, Dr. Anderson, Dr. Simpson, Dr. Bhat, Dr. Bezarson, as well as the nurses from the Cancer Centre, IA Oncology and her home care nurses Klaudia and Georgette.
