It’s with heavy hearts that we announce the surprising passing of Bryan Hope at house on January 2, 2025
Bryan was born in Toronto on June 25, 1951 to oldsters Doris and Clarence Hope. He grew up in Oakville. Bryan is survived by his loving spouse Mary Ellen of 37 years. Loving father of Brandon (Megan) and Dylan (Jessica). Beloved grandpa of Sienna. Pricey brother of Janice, Shelley and particular cousin to Kim (Eric). Brother-in-law to Anne (Paul) Gamble and Paul Gravelle. Uncle and finest good friend to many nieces and nephews. Bryan discovered the love of the outside, mechanics, marinas and the lake whereas residing together with his Aunt Eve and Uncle Dave Agnew on the Anchorage Marina on Jacks Lake. This love continued when he moved to Huntsville and met the love of his life Mary Ellen. They married and had been blessed to have two sons that he was so pleased with. He labored at Port Cunnington Marina on Lake of Bays after which began his personal profitable enterprise – Bryan’s Boat Works, the place he took nice satisfaction in caring for his clients. He was a gifted mechanic and woodworker with a ardour for searching, fishing and snowboarding. In his early years he backpacked throughout Europe and hitchhiked to California. The love of journey continued together with his many journey adventures with Mary Ellen. He additionally beloved his years teaching hockey and baseball and being a coach for Huntsville Minor Hockey.
A celebration of life will probably be held at a later date and in lieu of flowers, donations to Princess Margaret Hospital or Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Canada can be appreciated.
