Within the late night hours of Oct. 12, 2024, the Halton Regional Police Service positioned and arrested Nana-Yaw Asante in Oshawa with out incident. Police want to thank the general public and media for his or her help on this investigation.

The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) is requesting public help in finding a wished male, Nana-Yaw Asante, 23, from Hamilton.
Asante is at present an accused with the Ontario Provincial Police for a number of offences together with Tried Homicide with a Firearm. A warrant is being sought by HRPS for the offence of Unlawfully at Massive after Asante attended Burlington Courtroom on Oct. 10, 2024, for an unrelated matter and was launched from custody in error.
Asante is described as male, black, 5’5” tall, 145 kilos with black hair and brown eyes.
