Two lanes of the Toronto-bound QEW in Oakville, Ont., have reopened Tuesday after a tractor trailer jackknifed following a collision.

Ontario Provincial Police say it happened around 10 a. m. when a white SUV cut off two tractor trailers. The pair collided, resulting in one of the tractor trailers losing control, jackknifing and blocking the ramp to Ford Drive.

Officers say a passenger in the jackknifed truck was taken to hospital with minor injuries. The driver remained at the scene.

A diesel tank on the truck was also punctured and caused a spill, police say.

Two lanes of the Toronto-bound QEW near Ford Drive were closed during the clean-up, but have since reopened.

OPP are asking anyone who witnessed the collision or has dash camera video to contact them at 905-681-2511.
