Two men have been arrested following the theft of eight high-end vehicles from a leasing business in Oakville, Ont., earlier this month, according to police west of Toronto.

In the early hours of January 11, several masked individuals dressed in dark clothing broke into Lockwood Leasing on South Service Road W., Halton police reported in a news release on Monday.

The front window was shattered while no one was inside, allowing the suspects to access a lock box containing car keys, police stated. They then drove off with eight luxury vehicles, including a Ferrari, two Porsches, three Mercedes-Benz cars and two BMWs.

On January 12, Peel Regional Police reached out to investigators about finding a Porsche 911 and arrested two men during that process, as mentioned in the release. Halton investigators linked these men to the Oakville thefts.

The two men, both aged 24 from Mississauga and Victoria Harbour, face charges for breaking and entering as well as disguise with intent to commit an indictable offence. They also have additional charges from Peel police due to their arrests there, according to the release.

Authorities confirmed that they have retrieved four other stolen vehicles related to this incident. The Ferrari, one BMW, a Mercedes and a Porsche were found abandoned and unoccupied throughout the Greater Toronto Area.

Police previously estimated that the total value of all eight stolen vehicles is around $2 million.

Halton investigators continue searching for any remaining suspects and missing vehicles. Anyone with information regarding this investigation is encouraged to come forward or leave an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers.
