Authorities are increasing their efforts to catch auto thieves who’ve taken three 2025 Lincoln Navigators in just three days this week from homes in the southern part of Guelph.
The most recent theft involving the same luxury model was reported by a woman just before 6 a. m. on Friday, according to a news release from Guelph Police.
The woman informed police that her black 2025 Navigator had been stolen overnight from her driveway near Woodland Glen Drive and Old Colony Trail.
Police stated that security footage captured two individuals arriving at her home in a black vehicle around 3:30 a. m. on Friday.
Neither her stolen SUV nor one of the other two 2025 Lincoln Navigators taken this week from the same area has been recovered by law enforcement.
However, one of the stolen luxury vehicles was located by police in Mississauga.
Guelph Police’s auto theft team is working to find out if these three incidents are connected.
Just after 8 a. m. on Wednesday, a resident living near Downey Road and Ptarmigan Drive reported that his white 2025 Lincoln Navigator had been stolen overnight.
The tracking system for the vehicle later pointed to an address in Mississauga, where officers subsequently recovered it, according to police.
Investigators did not specify where exactly that SUV was found or if any arrests were made or suspects identified.
<p Approximately 24 hours later, on Thursday morning, another resident near Goodwin Drive and Dominion Drive reported that his black 2025 Lincoln Navigator had been taken from his driveway as well.
This vehicle has still not been recovered.
“Lincoln Navigators continue to be popular with local auto thieves,” police mentioned on Friday while highlighting the series of similar thefts.
Additonally on Friday morning, Guelph police noted that a resident living near Kortright Road West and Rickson Avenue reported her blue Ford F250 pickup had also been stolen overnight. This truck was towing a trailer with personal watercraft attached, they added.
In another case, investigators noted that a 2026 Mercedes SUV which was taken back in May from a business on Woodlawn Road West in Guelph has now been recovered earlier this week at the Port of Montreal.
The investigation is ongoing.

Guelph authorities remind residents that luxury vehicle thefts are an ongoing concern throughout many communities in the Greater Toronto Area and urge people to take preventive measures against auto theft.
“This can include parking indoors when possible or in well-lit areas, ensuring vehicle doors and windows are closed and locked, employing anti-theft devices to prevent vehicles from being started or steered and using devices to block signals from electronic keys,” police stated.
They also encourage citizens to report any suspicious behavior around unattended vehicles especially during nighttime hours.
