A new supermarket is set to open ahead of schedule in Mississauga.
T& T Supermarket Inc. will launch its second store in the city at 3060 Ridgeway Dr., just north of Dundas Street West, close to the Oakville border, next month.
The store spans 40,000 square feet and is built on a large parking area that was once used for customers at the former Silver City Cinemas. The cinema closed down in 2014 and now houses LA Fitness.
Originally expected to open in the summer of 2026, T& T Supermarket CEO Tina Lee has revealed it will now open in April.
The grand opening is scheduled for April 9 at 9 a. m.
“We know so many of you have been waiting patiently and we are finally excited to announce that we have a grand opening date for your second location in Erin Mills,” Lee said.
Lee mentioned she loves how the new store looks.
“Holy cow, this store is so awesome,” Lee said on Instagram. “I am super excited to bring a new store to you.”
This marks the second T& T outlet in the city. The first one can be found at 715 Central Parkway West. The new location aims to serve both Mississauga and Oakville residents.
“We are so excited to better serve the west Mississauga area and Halton Region with the opening of this new store,” Lee said.
