Late at night, a driver became a victim of carjacking at the intersection of Warden Avenue and Hwy. 407 in Markham. The incident began when a white sedan rear-ended the victim’s vehicle. After stepping out to assess the damage, he was assaulted by the attackers. They then drove away in his car, which was later located near Matheson Boulevard East and Orbitor Drive in Mississauga. York Regional Police have arrested one suspect, Waheed Rahmati, while two others remain unidentified and are still on the run.
