This museum is recognized as the first one in the United States solely focused on mermaid mythology.
It’s not just about tales like The Little Mermaid; it also emphasizes ocean science, teaching visitors how marine ecosystems function.

In addition to exhibits, vendors, there are interactive activities where you can dress up as mermaids and other mythical sea creatures, sift for seashells and fossils, and embark on a pirate-themed treasure hunt.
